Style adviser to The British Belt Company, how did that happen?

It’s a simply global journey involving oceans, the arctic and one very lucky duck.

Back in 1992 I was on a container ship with my extended family making my way from China to America to make my name in the world of fashion, when torrential rain and hurricane winds forced us to abandon ship in the Pacific Ocean. Cold and frightened I drifted North passing Alaska and Siberia.

Over the next 7 years I experienced more than any other duck could imagine, the cold frozen waters of the Arctic, the hostile polar bears, and the slippery seals.

As the world celebrated the new millennium, I finally emerged from the cold seas, passing Greenland and Iceland before making my way south to England.

In 2007 I came ashore for the first time in several years, in none other than the city of London! Within days I found myself in Saville Row, Covent Garden, Soho, studying the trends of men’s fashion.

The world loves a cute duck, and I soon found myself invited to all the social events in the British calendar, London Fashion Week, Henley Regatta, Royal Ascot. I began advising celebrities and royalty on how to dress.

Then on the 1st June 2014, whilst enjoying a weekend away, visiting some of my family on Rutland Water, in England’s smallest county, I meet the team from The British Belt Company. They invited me to their factory in Uppingham, and I fell in love with the heritage of English leather goods. They signed me up on a deal to become their style adviser – so here I am writing for you!
